I love the people there ♡ Drink my well-prepared latte almost every morning. Great location, nice people and bombs eat. Very child-friendly and everything freshly and deliciously prepared, always a great experience! Gladly again ;) Siiinnniiiiigg !!
Great restaurant with friendly service at reasonable prices. Food was delivered quickly (pepper steak with croquettes) and tasted very good.
Very delicious food, the staff was very nice and you could have a good chat, really recommendable!
The younger waitress was very rude to us and her colleagues. Almost angry with her colleagues. The food was ok.
Price-performance ratio good and it tasted good too. The young man who served us was super nice :)
I am really impressed with this place. You are greeted in a friendly manner by the staff and you feel comfortable. The menu is quite straightforward (could also be due to Corona). As a starter you get a salad with potato salad and very good dressing. You can convince yourself visually of the main course. The waitress was very attentive and made sure everything was done - very exemplary :) Finally the cook came and looked after his guests. I would recommend this restaurant as an insider tip.
Yummy Yummy Yummy. Could have been a little more food. We got full. Not more. Service very nice.
Times will inform the local authority. I pointed out the mask requirement was then asked very unfriendly to go. With the words If you don't like it you have to go. There are more bars here in town
Rustic restaurant with good home cooking. It was just Bavarian weeks, so there was a very good, albeit a little small knuckle. There is worse at the Oktoberfest;). Price-performance ratio is great.
Enjoyed sensational venison goulash in a fantastic panorama at the foot of a beautiful church. And discovered a new favorite beer. Thanks for that and would love to come back.
Were there today at around 4:30 pm. We wanted to sit outside or I asked the waitress if there was a free choice of seats. Your answer: no hello or the same "Food is only available from 6pm. I have to take a break first". And mumbled something to himself! (And then disappeared) we didn't even sit down and then make an announcement. Hello job missed! Then left again. So unfortunately we cannot rate the food. !!
Rude waitress, deep freeze strudel - wouldn't recommend.
Nice restaurant / café in a cozy place in front of the church. Were there twice for drinks. Nice atmosphere outside under the trees.
We were treated extremely rude by the owner. The reason was that we wanted to move the place from outside to inside due to a wasp plague, which he thought was excessive. I've never seen anything like it in my life. His behavior was visibly uncomfortable for his employees. And it was enough for me when he threatened my boyfriend with beatings!
Let me start positive, the terrace is beautifully situated and the restaurant is strikt in following COVID-19 rules. It was a bit crowded when we came in. We just came for some drinks. First of all we were told off by the waitress that we could not sit at the table because it wasn’t cleaned. Fair enough, but did you really needed to shout it from the other side of the terrace? Then they just let us stand ther for over 5 minutes. Next we waited about 10 minutes before we could order. During the ordering the waitress got pre occupied screaming at other guests they could not sit down. We received our drinks. A big hefe weissen and a sparkling water (with ice). The ice was missing so we asked another waitress -> we don’t have any ice. Whatetver. The waitress did apologize for the waiting when we paid. But it didn’t change my feeling of not being welcome. Overall a 2-star drinking experience
We were looking for a restaurant with regional cuisine this evening. We were very positively surprised by the "Alte Münz". A very traditional restaurant that is a good address for both small and large budgets. The staff are very friendly, committed and courteous. The portions are plentiful and very tasty. I can definitely recommend it.
Eaten here twice. From a schnitzel with fries or pasta dishes, they have it here. As a starter I got a small salad here. This did not have to be ordered with and was included. You get good portions here and as a vegetarian you can eat pasta here. Vegetarian dishes, however, are not specifically marked on the map. The service unfortunately seemed stressed when it was a bit busier, but this was made up for by the good food. For dessert I can recommend the ice cream parlor that is next to this restaurant. They have delicious and certainly not too expensive ice cream.
Excellent food (we had venison goulash) and super nice service. Fair prices and simply excellent for the town center! The lady was super nice and really took her time. Because I had read it here ... yes, in times of a pandemic, it is normal to get a seat or at least ask where to sit. I don't understand the deduction because everything fits here ... Clear recommendation :)
As soon as we had taken a seat outside at a table, there was instruction from a female waitress. You get a seat and shouldn't just sit anywhere. In fact, on the outside wall of the restaurant there is a sign that cannot be seen or read from afar, on which it says that one is shown the table. It is remarkable that despite the current regulation, none of the staff wore mouth-nose protection, not even the lady who concerned us. It's just a good thing that she said goodbye to you after work. Otherwise she would have had a lot to do that evening. None of the numerous subsequent guests waited for a table to be assigned ... Otherwise, the food tasted what you can expect at the higher prices. The portions were okay.
Very good food and courteous service. We were there spontaneously, food was very good, down-to-earth cuisine. Freshly prepared and worth every penny despite the somewhat higher price level. We will be happy to come again when visiting the southern Black Forest again.
I visited that restaurant in 2011 and as I can remember it was the tastiest steak I have ever eaten! I would walk back from Greece to eat that again!
Good food and drink just dont serve warm food between lunchtime and dinner.
Next to da Calvi which is worth a visit when in todtnau is Alte Münz. The lady serving the terrace outside is just rude and very impolite. It could be the weather which made bump into me or just her monthly period but if I were you or you are with kids, visit da Calvi or other, more pleasant bars in Todtnau.
In the restaurant "Old Coin" just everything was right. With superlatives I am otherwise very economical, but the service alone was on June 7, 2019 super class, incredibly service-oriented and fast. All the food we ordered was consistently delicious and plentiful. At the side salad z. B. should other restaurants take an example. Finally, a mixture of, among other leaf-potato salad with corn, peppers and cucumbers and a really tasty dressing. If we are in the area again, we like to look again.
Everything is delicious. Quickly. Conveniently. Beer too.
Very friendly
Very Gooooodddd!!!!
Food was good, service a bit rough but I really nice. No credit or debit an kitchen usually closes at 2pm
Yee
The food and prices are pretty good. I would normally rate this at around 3 to 4 stars. However, the lack of respect and politeness of both waitresses was such that it almost ruined the whole meal. Which is why this only deserves 1 star. We weren't difficult clients yet we were treated like scum from which to milk money.
nice
Good food. Not for vegetarians.
ok
Nice place, English menu, quick and good service, very good option for kids, don't accept credit cards...
Great ambiance, friendly staff, English menus. Typical but well-made German dishes.
Top
Nice place, good service and tasty meal.
